A sensational report claims that Manchester United have agreed to sell Bruno Fernandes while identifying two players as replacements.
The Portuguese star has arguably been the club’s most influential player over the past few years. He has been at the club since making the move from Sporting CP in January, and was appointed club captain in the summer of 2023.
The playmaker’s contract is valid until June 2027, with an option for another year. However, his future at the club has been a topic of great debate over the past few months.

The reporter also reveals that the transfer fee collected from Bruno’s sale will finance Man Utd’s long-awaited midfield revamp. Their two main targets will be Elliot Anderson and Carlos Baleba.
Bruno’s sale to fund Anderson & Baleba deals
Anderson is a 22-year-old box-to-box midfielder who rose through the ranks of Newcastle before joining Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2024 on a deal worth £35 million. He is now regarded as a key player for the Conference League club.
