Our confirmed MUFC XI vs Sheffield United is now in, with the Red Devils looking to secure a confidence-boosting performance.

Manchester United have very little left to play for in the Premier League. A top four finish is now just a pipe dream, though the Red Devils need to use these games to find some form ahead of the FA Cup final.

Matches are now coming thick and fast, with Sheffield United the next team to visit the Theatre of Dreams this evening.

The Blades will be coming to United looking to upset the applecart, while they’re trying to stave off relegation. As a result, the home team will have to give their maximum effort in order to avoid another potentially embarrassing defeat.

Erik ten Hag comes into this game dealing with injuries aplenty, which now feels like the norm at the moment. The likes of Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay miss out with an injury here, though the latter is feeling well enough for a place on the bench.

Anyway, the team news is now in, so let’s give you the full run down…

Andre Onana does start in between the sticks as per usual, with the man from Cameroon now looking to push on and continue with his good form.

Diogo Dalot has been playing brilliantly recently. He will start at right-back, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka continuing on the left-hand side of defence. Harry Maguire continues to fight through the pain to start, with Casemiro partnering the Englishman.

Kobbie Mainoo starts in the heart of midfield, as the young man looks to continue to improve game-by-game. Christian Eriksen makes a rare appearance from the off here, looking to prove that he still belongs. Bruno Fernandes plays in the #10 position.

Rasmus Hojlund is in a bit of a goal drought at the moment so a strike here would be ideal for confidence. Antony is on the right-hand side, with Alejandro Garnacho starting on the left.

Come on you Reds!
