Monday 20 April 2026 16:59Eight-year-old Manchester United fan Rowan Stapleton is on a mission to make the world a better place. The youngster has drawn big attention online over the past few months, with his TikTok account growing to nearly 50,000 followers in a very short period of time. Seen helping around the local community, Rowan has been delivering what he calls ‘random acts of kindness’ in his home city of Salford. Giving flowers to brighten someone’s day, helping people who are homeless, and even paying for strangers’ petrol, no job is too big or small for the youngster. Having caught the attention of Michael Carrick in recent weeks, the boss delivered him a personalised message and a special invitation to visit our Carrington training base. But in typical fashion, the schoolboy didn’t come empty-handed, instead bringing his own gifts for captain Bruno Fernandes and his family. Gifted with his own home shirt to wear and an additional one to be signed by our men’s first-team squad, Rowan’s joy was clear to see across his visit.”The best day ever,” said the eight-year-old United fan, who also posed for photographs with his favourite United stars. “It’s been my dream since I was four or five,” added the excited young Red. “There’s a lot of bad out there and I just want to turn it into good.”A day to remember for Rowan.Rowan’s message is clear and if anyone wishes to make a donation to his good cause, you can do so via his GoFundMe page. Keep up the great work, Rowan!Recommended:Monday 20 April 2026 16:59Back to Top
