United can secure clinical finisher for just €20m in January, Chelsea and Arsenal also in the race- report

Manchester United are long-term admirers of Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic and remain linked with him ahead of the winter transfer window. The Serbian is in the final 12 months of his contract with the Bianconeri, and several clubs are monitoring his situation with interest. Among his suitors are the Red Devils, who are looking for a new striker despite investing a fortune in Benjamin Sesko this summer. Sesko’s slow start to the season Sesko enjoyed a spectacular rise after joining RB Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg in 2023. After scoring 21 goals and setting up six more in 45 appearances in all competitions last season, the 22 year old earned a move to the Theatre of Dreams this summer. However, Sesko is yet to find his feet in the Premier League. The Slovenian has featured in all of United’s 11 games this season but has found the back of the net just twice. A recent report relayed by The Peoples Person stated that the Premier League giants expected the youngster to take some time to settle down at Old Trafford. However, with the team fighting for a top-four place this season, Amorim will be eager to add an established goalscorer to his squad in January, especially with Joshua Zirkzee’s future uncertain. Recent reports have suggested that United have Vlahovic on their radar for the job, with the player also attracting attention from Tottenham Hotspur. It now appears that the Red Devils could have the chance to sign the Serbian for a reduced fee in the winter. Juventus want €20m for Vlahovic According to Fichajes, Juventus are determined not to lose Vlahovic for free next summer and are prepared to let him leave in January for just €20 million. Vlahovic has registered five goals in 13 appearances in all competitions this season, but his high salary demands may have forced the Bianconeri to consider an untimely exit. The opportunity to sign an established striker like the Serbian for a nominal fee could prove to be too tempting for the Red Devils to turn down. Vlahovic offers a different profile to Sesko and could add another dimension to Amorim’s attack. He could also be an able replacement for Zirkzee, who has failed to convince since arriving at Old Trafford in 2024. However, United will face competition from Chelsea, Arsenal, Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur in the race for the 25 year old.
