Manchester United have been keen on moving on some of the players they don’t need anymore. The likes of Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Antony are all on this list.

Sancho has not had a very good time at Old Trafford. The Englishman joined Man Utd from Borussia Dortmund with a lot of expectation but things have not transpired the way he would have wanted.

News – Fee reduced from £70million – Player agrees terms and closes in to secure Manchester United exit

Last season, the 25-year-old spent his time on loan at Chelsea. He played quite extensively for Enzo Maresca’s side but the Blues were unable to finalize a permanent arrival for him.

The Red Devils were negotiating with Juventus for the sale of Sancho this summer. Now, as per Corriere dello Sport, a new twist has emerged in this saga.

Discussions with Man Utd were advanced for many days and even an agreement was reached. Sancho even had a four year agreement with Juventus but all is now in danger of breaking down.

Having already agreed a fee worth £15million, Juventus then tried to further reduce the price and forwarded a cheeky offer of 15 million euros, which was immediately rejected by the Old Trafford outfit.

Sancho is one of the highest earners at Man Utd, getting close to £250,000 a week. Thus, this is a huge blow for the Red Devils as they will unable be move him on and get those wages off their books.

Juventus have a number of options for the attack and Sancho is not the be-all and end-all of their transfer window. Thus, they are not as desperate in signing the Englishman as Man Utd are to sell.

Now, it remains to be seen what Man Utd try and do with Sancho. Reintegrating him would be the last option and it may be time to look at what other clubs are interested in securing his signature.

Let’s wait and see how things play out in the coming days.
