Great news for United fans as troublesome winger willing to take pay cut to force Juventus transfer – report

Manchester United are getting closer to offloading Jadon Sancho this summer.

With Chelsea deciding to pay a penalty rather than following through with their purchase obligation after Sancho’s loan, Man United are left with the task of finding a new suitor for the winger, given the bad blood between him and the club.

Late last month, The Peoples Person noted that Fenerbahce reportedly tabled a £15 million offer for Sancho, seemingly bringing a deal to fruition.

In the following days, however, the deal collapsed, with Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho allegedly deciding to block the move following a conversation with United counterpart Ruben Amorim.

Apparently, Mourinho learned that Sancho’s motivation for joining the Turkish club was financial, something that the Portuguese manager did not approve of.

Juventus emerged as another potential destination, with the club reportedly growing confident in their ability to sign the Englishman.

Although Juventus supposedly had positive talks with Sancho, Arsenal emerged as another potential suitor, supposedly asking United about their conditions for Sancho’s transfer.

Still, it appears that Sancho is keen on signing for Juventus, even willing to make certain concessions in order to get the deal over the line.

Corriere dello Sport reported that Juventus remain in contact with United over Sancho.

While Sancho is a massive earner, it appears as if he may be willing to take a pay cut in order to convince the Serie A club to sign him.

“The problem is his salary, which at Manchester United earns 15 million per season,” the report stated before continuing, “he has already promised to cut his salary, but an agreement must be found across the board, and it will still take time.”

“Confidence, in any case, is growing,” the article confirmed.

Still, the report claims that Juventus may not be alone in their pursuit.

“Sancho’s arrival is also linked to the future of Conceiçao for whom work continues with Porto, with the mediation of Jorge Mendes, to lower the request by 30 million,” the article claimed.

This is a welcome development for United, who are in need of additional funds as they look to rebuild their squad for the next season.
