Fierce PL rivals planning shock hijack attempt as United finally close to agreeing massive deal – report

Manchester United are desperate to get rid of Jadon Sancho, and latest reports seem to suggest he could be finally on his way out of the club.

Fenerbahce have emerged as unlikely leaders, leaving behind the likes of Juventus and Napoli, with former United boss Jose Mourinho personally persuading the United star to trade the English top-flight for the Turkish Süper Lig.

Interestingly, CaughtOffside have claimed Arsenal have emerged as surprise suitors, asking the Red Devils about the conditions for a deal.

They have not reverted back since, but the Gunners are after a winger, as seen from their previous interest in another United winger Alejandro Garnacho, who is also up for sale.

Arsenal join Jadon Sancho race

“Napoli and Dortmund have also made offers to Sancho, while Arsenal made an enquiry but haven’t followed it up.

“Arsenal’s interest may come as a surprise to some, but the Gunners are understood to be looking for players in that position this summer, so checking in on Sancho perhaps makes sense even if he’s clearly not emerging as a priority.”

The Gunners had tried a similar deal last summer, eyeing to revive a big-name winger on huge wages. Raheem Sterling endured a disappointing spell at the Emirates in the end.

As for the England international, United have been trying to get rid for over a year now, with Borussia Dortmund not coming back in for him despite a successful loan spell.

United can’t wait to get rid

Last summer, INEOS must have felt relieved to agree a loan with an obligation to buy with Chelsea for the 25-year-old.

But his inconsistent form and wage demands meant the Blues opted to trigger a penalty payment instead of acquiring Jadon Sancho on a permanent basis.

Since then, the 20-time English league champions have been trying to offload the forward to domestic as well as foreign suitors.

Initially, the player was tempted to stay in England, but no club was ready to pander to his wage demands. Finally, it seems the saga is close to coming to an end thanks to former club boss Mourinho.
