Exclusive: Three rivals battling for ‘spectacular’ Man Utd star as INEOS issue ultimatum

While the future of Manchester United outcast Antony remains shrouded in mystery, three local rivals are prepared to battle it out for his services.

The Brazilian finally found his form again during his loan spell at Real Betis in the second half of the previous campaign. However, this proved too little too late to salvage his Man Utd career, especially after two and a half disappointing years at Old Trafford, where he only managed to score 12 goals and provide assists.

Therefore, Antony has been identified as one of five players no longer wanted at Ruben Amorim’s court. However, Marcus Rashford is the only one to seal a move away from Carrington, while the other four, including Antony, are still searching for their next destination.

Antony seeking new club after Man United omission

As reported in recent days, INEOS have issued an ultimatum, telling Antony to find himself a new club or he’ll risk spending the campaign on the sidelines.

Unfortunately for the 25-year-old, his desired return to Real Betis is impeded by the considerable costs of the operation. The Andalusians are keen to prolong their collaboration with the winger who was ‘spectacular’ last season, but they’re struggling to fork out the £35 million requested by Man Utd, not to mention his hefty salary.

Nevertheless, sources close to Stretty News insist that Antony has no shortage of suitors, as the three biggest clubs in Turkiye (Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas) are all vying for his services.

The Istanbul-based trio have been enjoying an eventful summer, prising top-notch stars to both sides of the Bosphorus.

These clubs are willing to match Man Utd’s asking price, but they’re hoping to seal a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season.

Our sources also reveal interest from Benfica, while Saudi Pro League giants remain in the mix, even though Antony had made it clear he had no desire to play in the KSA, especially with the World Cup taking place next summer.

The coming days and weeks will definitely bear important developments on this particular track.
