Former Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard has furiously blasted an online troll who accused him of destroying the club’s culture alongside Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba.
Lingard came through the ranks at United, eventually breaking into the team and becoming one of the team’s most famous and recognizable figures.
He made a total of 232 appearances for the Red Devils before permanently departing in 2022.
At Old Trafford, Lingard fully embraced his vibrant personality, often posting videos of himself dancing in the dressing room alongside his teammates.
He frequently celebrated his goals with dance routines, which boosted his popularity but also drew criticism, particularly amidst United’s struggles on the pitch.
Now playing for FC Seoul in South Korea, Lingard hit back at an online troll, who accused him of “destroying the culture” at United.
On December 28, 2024, an X user wrote on the social media platform, “Him, Pogba, and Rashford destroyed the culture. He was let [to] have his own culture with those other 2 vultures after Sir Alex left.”
Earlier today, Lingard responded, “Please explain how me paul and Marcus destroyed Manchester United’s culture?”

A second fan added in support of Lingard, “You made us play well which some dumb b******* that ‘support’ this club don’t like because you dance and have fun.”
The former England international answered, “Lool we was just enjoying our life of we played for biggest club in the world of course we made mistakes and we learn but we gonna have fun and smile and dance.”

Another wrote, “Jesse broski we love you forever… but is Korea becoming that dead you gotta beef with nobodies. Cup final winner and a cult hero keep your head up son.”
Lingard stated, “Haha nah Korea lit bro I love it, I don’t even bite ever I never really read comments but had to reply to that shambolic accusation.”
