United star’s sudden change of agent fuels speculation over his future ahead of summer window

Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has officially changed his representation ahead of the summer transfer window.

United are bracing themselves for a busy window as the hierarchy aim to secure the services of players who are able to slot into Ruben Amorim’s preferred 3-4-3 system.

Some of the positions that are thought to be on United’s agenda include striker, wing-back, and midfielder. There is also a chance that the club will look at their goalkeeping situation.

Heaton’s contract is set to expire at the end of June and unless the club extend his terms, he will leave as a free agent.

There have also been suggestions that Altay Bayindir could be on his way out of Old Trafford despite enjoying a slightly more prominent role since Amorim’s appointment as Erik ten Hag’s replacement.

Galatasaray have been mentioned as a possible transfer destination for Bayindir, who is thought to be keen on being the number one goalkeeper.

A previous report covered by The Peoples Person claimed that Amorim is not entirely convinced about Onana’s long-term suitability, with the Portuguese coach keen on competition for him.

Onana has made multiple errors this season that have dearly cost United. Last month, he was guilty of two howlers as Brighton and Hove Albion beat United 3-1.

Some of the shot-stoppers United have been linked to include Bart Verbruggen (Brighton), Senne Lammens (Royal Antwerp), Mike Maignan (AC Milan), Illan Meslier (Leeds United) and John victor (Botafogo).

Now, it has been confirmed that Onana has joined Fali Ramadani’s Lian Sports agency.

Lian Sports wrote on Instagram, “We are thrilled to welcome Andre Onana to the Lian Sports Family.”

Other players represented by the company include Milos Kerkez (Bournemouth), Nikola Milenkovic (Nottingham Forest) and Federico Chiesa (Liverpool).

This latest development may not mean much, but it’s bound to raise a few eyebrows and spark speculation about Onana’s potential availability for transfer this summer.
