As Manchester United continue to keep tabs on Real Madrid forward Endrick, the star’s most likely transfer destination has been revealed.
United eyeing Endrick
United are seemingly stepping up their plans ahead of the January transfer window, and Endrick is believed to be one of the players they are interested in.
Endrick has endured a tough time at Madrid since joining the club in 2024 from his native Brazil. He struggled to break into the team under Carlo Ancelotti and Xabi Alonso’s arrival has done very little to improve his situation.
The 19-year-old has yet to get a taste of senior action under Alonso, who has relied on other attacking options including Vincius Jr, Kylian Mbappe, Franco Manstantuono, Rodrygo and Arda Guler.
A report covered by The Peoples Person relayed that United are one of a number of clubs keen on adding Endrick to their ranks when the winter window commences.
Fabrizio Romano later confirmed that Endrick is indeed poised to part ways with Madrid, with the player eager for first-team minutes ahead of the 2026 World Cup. Romano noted that Madrid are open to sanctioning a loan exit – an arrangement that would suit United.
Now, it has been revealed that the odds of United securing Endrick’s signature are low, as Madrid already have a favoured plan for his next move.
Endrick’s preferred destination
According to the Daily Briefing [via CaughtOffside], Real Sociedad are seen as the most likely option for Endrick.
Given the strong ties between Sociedad and Madrid, the idea is for Endrick to continue the tradition set by the likes of Takefusa Kubo and Martin Ødegaard as the next Madrid player to feature for Sociedad.
It’s understood that there is a “clear preference” for Endrick to sign for a La Liga club instead of moving abroad.
Sociedad appear to fit the bill, though they are not the only Spanish side showing interest, with Valencia lurking in the background.
In addition to United, other foreign clubs in the race for Endrick are Bayer Leverkusen, Lille, AS Monaco and Porto.
