Man Utd transfer target Moises Kean will be available for €62m (£53.6m) between July 1st and July 15th, according to reports in the Italian media. The Corriere Dello Sport claim that the Fiorentina striker has a release clause which will be active between those two dates. They name United as a potential suitor for Kean, although it seems unlikely that the Red Devils would be prepared to pay the buyout fee in full based on his performances this season. The Italian international has only scored 9 goals in 33 appearances, but there is some important context. Fiorentina have had a terrible season. The Viola were in danger of being relegated, but they have got themselves out of trouble in recent months. Kean could replace Zirkzee The 26-year-old scored 25 goals last campaign, so United’s continued interest is undoubtedly based on his past record. If he can recapture that form, he would be a useful addition to Michael Carrick’s squad. Joshua Zirkzee has barely got a look in this season, and if the Dutchman were to leave, a replacement would be needed. For that reason, you can see why a forward like Kean would be on the radar of Director of Football Jason Wilcox. He could be a useful backup for Benjamin Sesko, as long as he is available for a reasonable price. Two AC Milan stars, Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic, have also been mentioned as potential targets over the past week. They could be better fits for what the club are looking for. The priority is to strengthen the left wing, and both Leao and Pulisic can be deployed there. Kean, in contrast, prefers to play through the middle. Want more news on Man Utd?
