Read the latest from CarringtonWednesday 19 November 2025 10:55It may be the international break, but the hard work hasn’t stopped at Carrington as a group of Manchester United players continue to train. Head coach Ruben Amorim’s group includes a mixture of senior players who are not representing their countries and talented youngsters from the Academy.  As you can see in the image above, Lisandro Martinez is involved as the popular defender continues to work on his fitness following a long-term knee injury. Earlier in the international break, Licha had spent time training with Argentina in Europe, but, as planned, our centre-back did not feature in their friendly against Angola last Friday.  Martinez was part of the ‘winning team’ in Tuesday’s training session, alongside his senior team-mate Joshua Zirkzee and six youth-team players. The majority of United’s international players are set to return to Carrington on Friday morning, ready to begin preparations for our return to Premier League action.  Next up for Ruben’s Reds is an Old Trafford encounter against David Moyes’s Everton on Monday night.  Kick-off is scheduled for 20:00 GMT and the action will be broadcast live in the UK via Sky Sports.
