Meet your new Fans’ Forum representatives for 2025/26

Friday 15 August 2025 11:00

Manchester United is delighted to welcome six new fan representatives and three returning fan representatives on to the Fans’ Forum for the upcoming season.

In June, we opened applications for nine roles on the Fans’ Forum due to representatives reaching the end of their tenure or stepping down for the forthcoming season.

The Fans’ Forum is a collective and diverse consultative fan body that meets with senior club officials four times a season at Old Trafford to engage with the club on operational matters, with the aim of improving the experience for supporters.

We had a huge response and received hundreds of applications, and we’d like to thank everyone who put themselves forward.

We are pleased to share that Carly Lyes, Dips Jandu and David Field have been re-appointed to the forum as Local Resident representative, Season Ticket holder representative and Family Stand representative respectively.

In addition to our returning fan representatives, we are welcoming six new supporters to the forum.

Rick McGagh, director of fan engagement commented on our new appointments:

“Our Fans’ Forum remains a central part of our approach to fan engagement and alongside the Fan Advisory Board, MUST and our official supporters’ club network allows us to connect with fans, listen to their views and feedback, and make better informed decisions.

“I welcome Lily, Tony, Chun Yi, Thanos, Stewart and Bill to the group and am very much looking forward to working with them to improve the experience of our fans at Old Trafford and LSV, and to make all supporters feel closer to the club no matter where they are in the world. Our fan reps put in a huge amount of hours – all unpaid – and I want to thank them for their work and for the challenge, collaboration and insight they bring.”

MEET YOUR NEW FAN REPS

Thanos Oktoratos, overseas official supporters’ club representative:

“It’s a real privilege to join the Manchester United Fans’ Forum as the Overseas Official Supporters’ Club representative. Leading the Athens MUSC for nearly a decade has shown me the incredible spirit and dedication of United supporters worldwide. I’m passionate about building even stronger links between the Club and our overseas network, making sure we all continue to feel included, informed, and valued—no matter the distance from Old Trafford. As a lifelong fan and active Club member, I’m excited to work alongside my fellow reps and the Club to help shape a better matchday experience and make sure our international supporter community remains at the heart of Manchester United’s global family. United is about more than what happens on the pitch—it’s about us, everywhere, coming together.”

Stewart Moss, UK official member representative:

“I’m delighted to be appointed as a UK official member representative on the Fans’ Forum for the next two years. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside fellow supporters and the club to ensure fans’ voices remain central in shaping both the matchday experience and the future of Manchester United. I’m excited to contribute at such a pivotal moment – enhancing matchdays at Old Trafford and Leigh Sports Village, strengthening the bond between supporters and the club, and playing my part in the journey towards a new world-class stadium.”

Chun Yi Lee, overseas official member representative:

“It is a real privilege to join the Manchester United Fans’ Forum and an opportunity to bridge the gap between the club and supporters worldwide. Having experienced being a supporter from Singapore watching games at 4am and now being a matchgoing fan at Old Trafford, I understand the challenges supporters face both locally and overseas. My aim is to ensure supporters from all walks of life – whether a season ticket holder of 25 years or an overseas supporter visiting Old Trafford for their first (and perhaps only) time – feels valued, supported, and empowered to contribute to the atmosphere. Every supporter should feel at home at the Theatre of Dreams, and this forum gives us a platform to contribute into making that vision a reality.”

Tony Veverka, executive club representative:

“I’m absolutely delighted, and very proud, to be joining the Fans’ Forum as the Executive Club member representative. United has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, so having the chance to give something back and represent fellow supporters of this incredible and unique football club is a real privilege. I’m looking forward to working with the club and fellow supporters to represent the views of Executive Club members, celebrate what we love about United, and help shape improvements that play a part in strengthening the connection between the club and its fans. I can’t wait to get started and play a small part in helping United be the best it can be – on and off the pitch.”

Lily Quinlan, under-21 representative said:

“Hi my name is Lily Quinlan and growing up in our fan base is one of the highest privileges I’ll never take for granted. I’m honoured to be given the opportunity to help grow the interconnectedness of our youth support. Going back to being young I’ve always felt like being a United fan is more than watching our performances, the community in the stands we have makes you feel mutually understood, cared for and supported so that even when we might underperform on the pitch we always manage to help each other through every experience. I look forward to being able to help preserve and stretch this feeling, so no youth fan misses the opportunity to feel appreciated and valued so that we can live up to the name of us being united.”

Bill Dixon, over-65 representative said:

“I’ve been watching United for over 60 years since my brother took me to see us beat Spurs, watching from the United Road Paddock. It’s been a joy following the Reds since then and an absolute privilege to be invited to the Fans’ Forum and to be given the opportunity to make whatever contribution I can on behalf of the greatest fans in football. I passionately believe that a great fan experience is integral to great atmosphere and to success on the pitch. We fans enable our players to thrive by generating an atmosphere that provides a platform to perform. The Fans’ Forum has a leading role to play in this, especially with a new stadium on the way!”

Meeting minutes are published in full on the club website here.

Supporters can raise a question to the first Fans’ Forum of the 2025/26 campaign via their fan representative here.
