Multiple Manchester United loanees were in action in the Carabao cup first round last night.

Elyh Harrison
The goalkeeper was on the losing side in Shrewsbury Town’s 1-3 defeat to Grimsby Town but he still put in a good shift.
He made three saves inside the box and made one good punch out to clear the danger for his team.
Harrison also made one high claim but most impressively of all, saved a penalty for the Shrews. The youngster also won his only aerial duel in the match.
Sonny Aljofree
The young defender was also on the losing side as his Notts County team were beaten 0-1 by Wigan Athletic.
He won four tackles and made two clearances in the match. He also blocked three shots and made three interceptions as he stood up well to a League One attack.
Aljofree was successful in four of his six ground duels but was uncharacteristically poor in the air, failing to win any of his three aerial battles.
He also took care of the ball, completing 88% of his passes to a teammate.
Habeeb Ogunneye
The 19-year-old faced a strong test against Championship opposition in Millwall and they only lost 0-1.
He completed 67% of his passes and one of his three long ball attempts. Unfortunately he was unsuccessful in both his dribble attempts.
Ogunneye also struggled in duels, only winning two out of seven ground ones. He did make three clearances and one interception to help his side only concede one goal against a superior opposition.
Jack Moorhouse
The Irish youth international had a tough evening as Leyton Orient lost 0-1 against Wycombe.
He completed just 73% of his passes but two of them were key ones. Moorhouse also threatened a goal with two good shots on target.
The young midfielder did struggle in physical aspect of the game though losing seven of his eight ground duels and both his aerial battles. The 19-year-old will need time to get used to the physicality of professional senior football.
Dan Gore
Gore came on as a substitute in Rotherham United’s penalty shootout win over Salford.
He played 28 minutes of action and completed 78% of his passes with one being classified as a key pass.
Gore had one shot off target but crucially did miss his penalty in the shootout. Luckily, his side did go on to win 3-2.
The youngster did win his only aerial battle but lost out on four of his five ground duels.
Ethan Wheatley
Finally, Wheatley played 45 minutes of a tough match against Championship opposition Southampton. His Northampton side narrowly lost 0-1 against the Saints.
He failed to have any shots at goal and only was able to touch the ball nine times.
Wheatley struggled in the air losing five of his six aerial battles and only completed three passes as he found it tough to get into the game.
It will have been a steep learning curve against a team that was in the Premier League last season.
