Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on the highly rated Brazilian forward, Ricardo Mathias.
According to a report from Globo Esporte, they sent scouts to watch the 19-year-old in action earlier this week on Wednesday. Internacional played out a draw against Fluminense, and Mathias was in action.
The player has a €65 million release clause in his contract, and it will be interesting to see if Manchester United decide to make a move for him this summer. The 19-year-old is a phenomenal young talent with a bright future, and he could develop into a future star for the club.

Ricardo Mathias could fancy Man United switch
Manchester United will be an attractive destination for the young attacker. They are among the biggest clubs in the world, and joining them would provide him with the opportunity to showcase his qualities at the highest level. Manchester United could nurture him into a team player as well.
However, the asking price is quite steep. Internacional will have to be more reasonable with their demands in order for the move to go through. Even though he might develop into a top-class player in future, he has done nothing to justify the €65 million price tag right now.
Man United could use Mathias
Manchester United have brought in three quality attackers this summer. It will be interesting to see if they look to add some depth to the squad as well. Mathias could be a useful option for them in cup games and during rotation.
Regular exposure to English football could bring out the best in the 19-year-old as well and help him fulfil his tremendous potential. It remains to be seen whether Manchester United decide to follow up on their scouting mission with an official proposal to get the deal done.
