RB Leipzig have reduced the asking price of Man United target Benjamin Sesko, according to Bild reporter Christian Falk.
Writing in his Substack column (quotes via Caught Offside), Falk revealed that the Slovenian international could now be on the market for below his €80m (£69m) release clause:
“The striker (22) is still very, very young. He can leave with a good offer; I think Leipzig are willing to talk if they receive a fee closer to €70m (£61m).”
Supporters on X have called on the club to make a move for Sesko before the start of next season:
Yes… We need him

Man United need to raise funds first
After spending in excess of £130m on Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, the main goal at the moment is to recoup some money from player sales.
The Red Devils are hoping to receive bids for the likes of Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia, and if they can get these players off the club’s books, then a move for a new No.9 is on the cards.
Sesko is not the only forward under consideration
It is believed that enquiries have been made for Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins. The England international would cost the same amount as Sesko but he is 7 years older.
An approach for Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson has also been discussed, but the Blues are said to have increased their asking price recently, so the Senegalese international may no longer be a viable target.
