“We can’t be satisfied until…”: United star issues rallying cry to his teammates after reaching career milestone in draw vs. Arsenal

Diogo Dalot has said that he and his teammates cannot afford to be satisfied with Manchester United’s current state, insisting that they can’t rest until the club is back where it belongs.

Dalot issued this rallying cry after United’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal at Old Trafford.

Bruno Fernandes gave United the lead just before the break as he sent his free-kick effort into the back of the net. However, Declan Rice’s 74th-minute strike ensured the spoils were shared between the two sides.

United remain in 14th place in the Premier League table, with 34 points to their name.

Dalot’s appearance against Arsenal was a special one for him, as it was his 200th for the Red Devils.

After the final whistle, the Portugal international spoke to BBC Mach of the Day [via DAZN] and reacted to achieving the incredible milestone.

“When you sign for a big club like this, you want to live every moment. To achieve this milestone [of 200 games], it was a proud moment for me and my family.”

“I am really happy with the journey and hopefully, there is many more to come. I’m really happy that I am here because I want to fight for it and we cannot be satisfied until we are at the top again.”

He added, “If we can control games and win 3-0, I would be more than happy but at the moment we need to find that way.”

Dalot also took to social media and wrote, “That was a battle.”

“Wish we could have got the win at the end for you but an honour to make my 200th appearance for this incredible club!”

“Thank you Reds for a special atmosphere!”
