Radek Vitek Vitek was in sensational form as he helped his side to a crucial 2-1 away win over Blackburn Rovers. The Czech keeper could do little to keep out the home side’s opener as a ferocious effort was thrashed into the roof of the net from close range by Yuki Ohashi. In the second half, he pulled off an impressive flying save to deny the home side a second after a wonderful scissor kick attempt. He also denied Blackburn late on when an effort was slid in from a cross, but Vitek stood tall to repel the effort. The Manchester United academy player was not finished yet, though, as he saved from close range after a fine mazy run from the Blackburn attacker. He made a total of six saves, with five of them coming from shots inside the area. Vitek also made two high claims and two clearances in the game. He also came out on top in his only aerial duel of the match. Bristol City will be back in action on Friday evening at home to Watford.
