Casemiro The Brazilian has had an outstanding season to date and there are rumours that United may even extend his contract at the end of the season. The Brazilian veteran’s importance has continued to grow with his national side and he was once again crucial in their 2-0 victory over Senegal. He scored his side’s second of the game when a clever run at the back post took him away from Senegal’s defence. Casemiro took the ball down well and curled a fine effort into the net to give the Brazilians some breathing space. The midfielder played the entire 90 minutes and made one key pass in the match. He also had a passing accuracy of 91%. The 33 year old also missed another big chance to grab a brace. He was strong defensively winning two tackles and six ground duels in the match. He also won one aerial contest. He headed a difficult cross towards goal but his effort unluckily cannoned off the woodwork. He also hit the post later on in the game as he searched for another Brazilian goal. Cunha had four shots in total and also completed two dribble attempts. The tenacious attacker also got through significant defensive work, winning six ground duels and one aerial battle. Patrick Dorgu Dorgu was also involved in Denmark’s 2-2 draw with Belarus. He won two tackles, made one clearance and two interceptions in the match. Dorgu was also combative in defence, winning seven ground duels and his only aerial contest. He also contributed in attack with three key passes and one big chance created. The young fullback also almost scored another international goal but had his shot well saved by the Belarussian keeper.
