Rasmus Hojlund The Dane had a highly impressive December, scoring numerous important goals, but has so far found 2026 a struggle. He has so far failed to score in four matches this month during a hectic schedule. Hojlund once again played the entire 90 minutes of SSC Napoli’s 0-0 draw with Parma in Serie A. The striker had one shot on target and a total of two in the match. He also failed to complete any key passes or dribble attempts in the match. He was also only able to complete a total of seven passes, even though he was on the pitch for the entire 90 minutes. Hojlund was also poor in his duels, winning just two out of seven ground contests. He will aim to score his first goal of the calendar year against Sassuolo on Saturday evening. He was substituted off at half-time, though, in a far from convincing performance. The 18-year-old had no shots on goal and did not make any key passes in the match. Kana-Biyik was also only capable of making seven passes in the half. On a more positive note, he did win his only tackle and duel attempt. The young striker will hope for another start against Young Boys on Saturday. Ethan Williams The academy winger came on for the final 12 minutes of Falkirk’s narrow 0-1 defeat to Celtic in the Scottish Premier League. Despite his limited time on the pitch, he had one big chance to share the points for his side. In a frantic counter, the ball broke to him in the box, but he could not place the ball past the onrushing Celtic keeper. His other contribution was an interception in his only defensive action of the match. Falkirk’s next challenge is a tough cup tie away to league leaders Hearts of Midlothian on Saturday night.
