Manchester United could be on the verge of missing out on another top target.
Goalkeeper confusion
The Red Devils have been linked to a goalkeeper all summer but have continuously prioritised other positions, bringing in three attacking players.
What’s more, they are also current pursuing a deal for Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Carlos Baleba.
There have been reports that United had a loan bid rejected for Emiliano Martinez earlier in the window.
The club have also been regularly linked to Paris Saint-Germain keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma but it appears rivals Manchester City are closing in on a deal for the Champions League winner.
United were also linked to a move for Botafogo keeper John Victor but no deal has materialised.
Senne Lammens interest
Ruben Amorim’s men have been linked to move for Royal Antwerp keeper Lammens and he is said to be available for the low cost of around £17 million.
The keeper is also believed to be very interested in a move to Old Trafford and United are reportedly a “dream club” for the Belgian star.
Inter Milan complication
United are focusing all of their attention on a massive deal for Baleba at the moment and as a result are not actively engaged in talks for a keeper.
Nonetheless, they may need to act quickly if they are to avoid disappointment according to latest reports.
The Daily Telegraph have reported that “Manchester United had Senne Lammens high on a list of options this summer in the event of a goalkeeper leaving but the 23-year-old is a serious target for Inter Milan who are set for talks with Antwerp.”
The report adds that, “French clubs are also there for him but Inter are pushing for the Belgian.”

Therefore, if Inter Milan continue to push for a deal, United will be forced to act or risk losing out on another top keeper target ahead of the new season.
