United trio over the moon as national team boss delivers fantastic news

England boss Thomas Tuchel has issued a fantastic update about the prospects of Manchester United trio Kobbie Mainoo, Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire. There have been growing calls for Mainoo, Shaw and Maguire to be considered for a return to the England squad ahead of this summer’s World Cup, and Tuchel has confirmed that they are firmly in contention to be called up. It’s good competition.” All 10 of Mainoo’s international appearances for England came in 2024, during his breakout campaign. Neither Maguire nor Shaw have played under Tuchel yet.
