United take “decisive steps” to complete January signing, preparing £70m offer for 22-yo star – report

Manchester United’s winning run came to a halt at Nottingham Forest, as the Red Devils struggled to dominate the game at City Ground from start to finish.  The visitors drew the first blood as Casemiro scored from a well-placed header in the 34th minute. In the second half, Forest enjoyed a period of dominance and scored two quick goals, taking advantage of United’s lacklustre defending. Casemiro, in particular, looked tired as the game progressed and his lack of pace often left United vulnerable in transition. Anderson reportedly fits the profile of midfielder United have been looking for.
