United slap astonishingly low price on “top-class” United star’s head, European side ready to pay – report

Manchester United’s valuation for goalkeeper Altay Bayindir has emerged as Besiktas prepare to make a move for him in the summer. Besiktas eyeing Bayindir Bayindir appears increasingly destined for a summer exit from Old Trafford, with Senne Lammens having firmly established himself as the club’s undisputed first-choice goalkeeper. At the start of the season, now-sacked head coach Ruben Amorim regularly called on Bayindir after it became clear Andre Onana was no longer wanted at United. However, like Onana before him, Bayindir failed to convince the club that he could be a reliable long-term solution in goal. Across his six Premier League appearances, Bayindir looked vulnerable at set pieces and failed to inspire confidence with his shot-stopping. United dipped into the market and signed Lammens from Royal Antwerp. Lammens made his debut in October during the 2-0 win over Sunderland and has started every game since. In the closing stages of the January transfer window, Besiktas launched an attempt to snap up Bayindir but United turned them down. More recently, it was reported that United are now more open to letting the 27-year-old depart this summer, with Besiktas still keeping tabs on his situation. Now, a fresh update has revealed just how much United want to sanction Bayindir’s sale. Bayindir transfer update According to Fanatik, United’s change of stance on Bayindir’s future has “pleased” the Besiktas management. Even more delightful for the Super Lig giants is that United will not demand a substantial transfer fee for Bayindir. The Red Devil value him at just €5m. United paid around the same sum for Bayindir, who Bruno Fernandes branded “top-class”, when they secured his services in 2023. Fanatik add that Bayindir, who currently earns around €3m per year at Old Trafford, is willing to take a pay cut to join Besiktas. He is open to accepting €2m. Bayindir and United return to action next Monday when they face Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
