Said El Mala has made a phenomenal start to his career at 1. FC Köln, but he could soon find himself at one of Europe’s biggest clubs. The 6’2″ teenager, known for his technical flair, explosive pace and instinctive finishing, has drawn comparisons to Kingsley Coman.  El Mala, who primarily plays as a left winger, has been directly involved in nine goals in 14 Bundesliga matches this term. He has also featured as a striker under Köln coach Lukas Kwasniok. In October, The Peoples Person relayed a report claiming United are among a host of clubs monitoring the 19-year-old forward. Manchester United make move for Said El Mala Now, SportBild claim United have made an approach for Said El Mala, and they are joined by Tottenham Hotspur. The German publication claim Köln have “received the first concrete inquiries” from United and Spurs. It is added that the Red Devils have indicated they are willing to offer around €30-40m for the German youngster’s signature.  Said El Mala Stats: CompetitionAppearancesGoalsAssistsYellow CardsRed CardsMinutes Played Bundesliga1463–656′ DFB-Pokal2–1-80′ Total16631-736′ The report states: “It’s also clear that if they’re offering FC Köln such sums so early on, they know the final transfer fee will be even higher. It’s likely to be above €50m if yesterday’s report is to be believed.” It has been previously suggested that Köln want to wait until next summer to sell their prized asset for a fee in the region of €60m. The likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are also keen on El Mala. Still, it is believed that his future is likely to be in the Premier League. Man United also eyeing Bundesliga left-back United appear to be prioritising strengthening their left flank despite having added Patrick Dorgu and Matheus Cunha to their ranks this year. Cunha has two goals to his name in 14 appearances for the Mancunians. Meanwhile, Dorgu is yet to open his account since moving to Old Trafford from Lecce in January.  Accordingly, the Premier League giants are also following German left-back Nathaniel Brown, who is thriving at Eintracht Frankfurt. Eintracht are thought to be open to selling their attacking full-back, who they value at around €70m.
