With Marcus Rashford no longer at the club, and with INEOS failing to provide backup in January, Amorim must start trusting academy sensation Chido Obi more and wait until the summer for help the co-owners.

However, given PSR concerns, there is a chance that primary targets like Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres might not be affordable which is why the club are keeping an eye on cost-effective options.
Liam Delap of Ipswich Town is on the club’s radar but Chelsea seem to have the edge at the moment. Ontheminute.com have added a new name to the list — Sindre Walle Egeli of Danish side Nordsjaelland.
The 18-year-old can play on either flank and even as a No 10 which will please Amorim and his age and profile will suit INEOS’ youth-first approach.
Despite his young age, the Norwegian already has five goals and three assists this season and United believe he can hit the ground running should they complete a summer deal for him.
However, lots of other clubs are in the fray including league rivals Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest, Newcastle.

As per reports, Dutch side Feyenoord had seen their €15 million bid rejected so United will have to fork out more to land the Norway U21 international, who has already earned comparisons with Erling Haaland.
