Manchester United are closing in on their fifth signing of the summer.
Goalkeeper hunt
The Red Devils have spent all summer searching for a keeper and have finally landed on a target.
Both Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir have failed to impress during their time at the club, Bayindir most recently making a critical error in United’s opening day loss to Arsenal.
Ruben Amorim’s side had a loan move for Emiliano Martinez rejected by Aston Villa in July.
The club were also linked to a move for Gianluigi Donnarumma, but it appears that his future may lie on the blue side of Manchester, at Manchester City.
Nonetheless, it seems like the Red Devils have finally pushed ahead on a new target for this summer.
Senne Lammens focus
United have been linked to 23-year-old Belgian shot stopper Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp all summer and Fabrizio Romano has provided a huge update on their pursuit.
The ultra-reliable journalist has posted on X that “Manchester United are still working on deal to sign Senne Lammens, talks underway.”
He also adds that, “personal terms are almost agreed and Man United are in active talks for the Belgian goalkeeper.”
It is thought that United have decided to make a move now owing to the fact that other top teams have started sniffing around the player.

Lammens has received interest from other teams such as Inter Milan who were expected to begin negotiations for the player.
United fans will be delighted that the Red Devils have finally decided to act on a priority position and will hope that a deal can be concluded swiftly for the sought-after shot stopper.
