“This is just the beginning”

Ruben Amorim’s first interview as head coach of Manchester United was released on Friday.

Our Portuguese boss articulated himself superbly, outlining his pride at stepping into such a role while appreciating the history of the Reds.

Immediately after the interview’s release, United supporters reacted to Ruben with their first impressions of the 39-year-old, highlighting his charisma and calmness as standout traits.

“This is just the beginning! Ruben’s passion for Manchester United is clear, and we’re all in for this journey!” wrote one excited supporter.

“I’m in love with his confidence ❤️” said another.

Dev Bajwa, a social media content creator who is also an avid Red, said: “Ruben Amorim’s only just arrived at Old Trafford and it feels like he’s right at home. He’s shown elsewhere he has the tactical nous to be successful but I’m loving his charisma and the way he carries himself too as both will be absolutely vital. Looking forward to this!”

Journalist Henry Winter also posted on X: “United fans are right to be excited by Amorim. His charisma and communication skills very evident in his MUTV interview.
