Across the 2024/25 season, Manchester United’s official supporters’ clubs have collectively raised £41,000 for Manchester United Foundation.

We’re immensely proud to work alongside 334 official supporters’ clubs across 91 countries, deepening the connection between the club and supporters both locally and globally.

Embedded within our club’s ethos is the incredible work carried out by Manchester United Foundation in and around Greater Manchester, which has been embraced by our family of supporters’ clubs worldwide.

In April, 12 participants from Foundation partner high schools were rewarded with a Cypriot experience of a lifetime in Limassol, organised by our official Cyprus Supporters’ Club.

Now, we’re ending this season with an incredible fundraising milestone; over 2024/25, our supporters’ clubs have raised £41,000 in donations for Manchester United Foundation across six Warm-Up events and an end of season celebration evening.

Our much-loved Warm-Up events are just one of the many benefits of being part of an official supporters’ club.

Hosted the night before a home fixture, as many as 350 supporters’ club members unite in the Stretford End to meet a United former player, connect with fellow Reds from around the world, and enjoy a legend Q&A, live music and more.

Inside our Supporters’ Club celebration

Our network of international Supporters’ Clubs came together at Old Trafford for a special fundraising dinner…

Rick McGagh, director of fan engagement, said:

“We are absolutely delighted to have raised over £40,000 for Manchester United Foundation through our events with our official supporters’ clubs this season. Their generosity is greatly appreciated, and it will make a big difference to the Foundation, allowing them to reach even more young people across Greater Manchester. Our global network of supporters’ clubs provides the team and club with huge support, and it is fantastic to see that also extends to our Foundation. We look forward to raising even more money next season and for looking at other ways to bring our fans, the Club and our Foundation even closer together.”

John Shiels, chief executive of Manchester United Foundation, said:

“The power of Manchester United’s global support never ceases to amaze me. Their love and passion for the club cannot be questioned; their connection and engagement go far beyond on-pitch matters. It’s humbling to me that supporters all over the world recognise the work the Foundation does and how crucial the club is to its community, and the indelible impact we can all make. I want to thank each and every supporter who contributed to this incredible donation, which I can assure you will change young lives for the better and give those youngsters the opportunity to thrive.”
