‘Screamed in frustration’: Fernandes spotted losing his rag at one teammate early on vs Brighton

Bruno Fernandes was spotted losing his rag at Benjamin Sesko in the first half of Manchester United’s FA Cup clash at home to Brighton and Hove Albion yesterday.At the time, the Red Devils were already trailing 1-0 via Brajan Gruda’s 12th-minute opener, leading to a cagey half-hour of action until the interval.Why Bruno Fernandes fumed at Benjamin Sesko(Photo by Carl Recine/Getty Images)In the build-up to half-time, United’s skipper played the ball to Sesko, who then conceded possession as he was unable to control the pass in time – prompting an infuriated reaction from Fernandes.“Fernandes just screamed in frustration as his pass to Sesko failed to be controlled by the centre-forward,” reported Manchester Evening News journalist Steven Railston on X/Twitter. “There was a little bit too much on it.”Sesko did go on to redeem himself in the closing stages when he netted United’s first goal of the tie.
