The Cameroon international has hit the ground running since his £71m move from Brentford in the summer, and Ferdinand says the forward has been outstanding: “Mbeumo has been a joke. Senne Lammens has produced some impressive displays as No.1, but it is difficult to make a considered judgement at this stage as he has only played a handful of games.
