Manchester United have been heavily linked with a number of talented players this summer, but have so far made only two high-profile additions to the squad – Matheus Cunha from Wolves and Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.
The Red Devils have made solid reinforcements in attack, but they also have a number of players in the same position, including Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Jadon Sancho who are currently on the chopping block.

Should the trio leave this summer, it could prompt Man Utd to look at another reinforcement in attack. Now, as per The Sun, the Old Trafford outfit want to sign talented Stuttgart youngster Nick Woltemade this summer.
Bayern Munich has been in pole position to sign the German attacker this summer, but have eventually settled for Liverpool star Luis Diaz, whose arrival now puts this move in jeopardy. Woltemade is apparently valued at £40million this sumer.
The talented Kaiser, who made his senior international debut last month, is now caught in a transfer battle between Newcastle United and Manchester United.
The two clubs seem to have a lot of similar targets in mind this summer and are locking horns quite often.
Woltemade is predominantly a secondary striker who likes to play off a more conventional number nine. In many ways, he is quite similar to Joshua Zirkzee, who is a Manchester United player and it doesn’t make sense for the club to sign him.
There is no doubt about the talent that the German possesses. However, what Manchester United need this summer is something quite different – a traditional number nine who can contribute in terms of goalscoring and playing with his back to goal.
Unless this is a deal that proves to be too irresistible, Man Utd should pass on the opportunity. Woltemade, for all his talent, would be better off moving somewhere else at this stage and let’s wait and see how things play out.
