Report – Man Utd ready £61million offer to meet fee to sign versatile playmaker

Old-Trafford

Manchester United have adequately reinforced their attack before the start of the new Premier League campaign.

Now, they must focus on strengthening other key departments before the closure of the window on the 1st of September.

News – Deal close – Man Utd prepared to agree £39.8million package to seal player exit

According to Spanish source, Fichajes, Man Utd are readying an offer worth £61million (70 million euros), to sign Argentine international and Como star, Nico Paz.

The media outlet have mentioned that the South American is a wanted boy in the market and even La Liga giants, Real Madrid are interested in hiring his services.

Paz is a versatile talent, who has featured in multiple offensive positions throughout his career. He has played as a winger and a center forward but has mainly excelled in the No.10 role behind the striker.

Last season, under the management of former Chelsea midfielder, Cesc Fabregas, the 20-year-old started 30 games in the Italian league and directly contributed in 15 goals (6 goals and 9 assists).

The youngster’s top performances for Como earned him a place in the senior international side and he provided an assist in his debut for Argentina last October. Thus far, he has earned three caps for the reigning World Champions.

At Old Trafford, Man Utd lack creativity in the center of the park. Apart from skipper, Bruno Fernandes, none of the midfielders were able to consistently perform for the Red Devils last season.

Therefore, Amorim needs to improve the situation and the report suggest that Man Utd have the advantage to sign Nico Paz as they are willing to meet Como’s demands to complete the transfer.

We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds and will keep you updated.
