Report – Man Utd consider offer close to asking price to sign £207,000 a week versatile star

Camavinga Mbappe

Manchester United are in search of a quality player to improve the midfield and now, a La Liga superstar is on their radar.

According to reports, Eduardo Camavinga is on the wish-list of Man Utd and the Real Madrid star could be allowed to leave if the asking price is met.

News – Report – Man United line up raid to sign £70million player

As per Spanish source, Fichajes, Real Madrid have no plans to offload the French international unless someone offers 80 million euros for their prized asset.

The media outlet have mentioned that Man Utd boss, Ruben Amorim, considers Camavinga as an ideal player to fit in his 3-4-2-1 system at Old Trafford.

Therefore, the Red Devils are considering making an offer close to the asking price of 80 million euros to sign the Les Bleus star.

The 22-year-old has already won all the major prizes with the Los Blancos, including two Champions League titles.

Should Man Utd sign Eduardo Camavinga

Camavinga is a versatile talent, who can effectively play as a defensive midfielder, creative central midfielder and even as left midfielder/back.

His current contract at the Bernabeu will expire in 2029 and he takes home around £207,000 a week.

The 26-capped international has proved to be a top star for Real Madrid and has the quality and the experience to strengthen the midfield at Old Trafford.

However, it must be taken into consideration that last season, he spent majority of the time on the treatment table due to consistent injury concerns (Knee and Hamstring). He only managed to start 11 games in the league.

Last night, Real Madrid defeated Osasuna 1-0 to kick start their new La Liga campaign and Camavinga was not part of the squad as he recently suffered an ankle sprain.

Man Utd need a midfielder who can make an immediate impact and Camavinga, with his recent injury record, seems like a gamble. What do you think?
