One of the biggest concerns Manchester United had, coming into this summer transfer window, was just how much cash they had to be able to spend on signings.

The need to perform an open heart surgery was plain as day but the funds, not so much. The club did spend significantly to bring in the likes of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.

That seemed pretty much it, especially with the Red Devils struggling to move on the likes of Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Antony. Marcus Rashford has left, albeit on loan, earning them no immediate money.

Now, as per The i Paper, Man United have been handed a major boost as a change in their financial outlook, based on assessment of the PSR regulators, gives them more funds to spent this summer.

The news source have mentioned that Sir Jim Ratcliffe & Co. will sanction’ a big-money move for Ruben Amorim before the Premier League season starts in less than two weeks.

While the most likely arrival at this stage seems to be RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, the big-money signing doesn’t necessarily need to be the Slovenian and the club still have a couple of weeks to decide.

Previously, it seemed that Man Utd might not be able to compete with Newcastle if a bidding war ensured for the Bundesliga striker but the availability of funds has changed the situation.

One can also assume that if the Red Devils manage to move on Garnacho this summer, they should get a significant fee from his deal, although the same cannot be said about Sancho and Antony.

The next few days look set to be exciting, from a Man Utd perspective and let’s wait and see how things play out.
