Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing the French-Congolese defender Tylel Tati, and they have sent Scouts to watch him in action.

According to a report from CaughtOffside, several other clubs are interested in the player, and the report claims that half of Europe is after him.

Man United would do well to sign Tylel Tati

The 17-year-old is a phenomenal talent with a bright future, and it will be interesting to see if FC Nantes are willing to sanction his departure in the near future.

He is versatile enough to operate as a central defender, a full-back, as well as a defensive midfielder. He could develop into a top-quality player for Manchester United if they manage to get the deal done. He is young enough to improve further, and he could prove to be a remarkable investment if Manchester United can sign him for a reasonable amount of money.

Tati is an elite talent

Upcoming left-footed, physically imposing defender with great aerial presence and leap. Has recovery pace to get back quickly and is strong in channel defending. Very solid in duels and pretty composed on the ball.

The player is already a part of the Nantes first team, and he will only improve with coaching and experience. It remains to be seen how the situation develops. Signing the player will not be easy for Manchester United. Clubs like Arsenal and Barcelona are keen on him as well. They have the resources to get the deal done, and it remains to be seen where he ends up.

Tati needs to choose his next destination carefully. He should look to join a club where he will get regular opportunities and a clear pathway for his development. Sitting on the bench at a big club will be detrimental to his growth. It remains to be seen what the player decides. If Manchester United manage to get the deal done, it would be a major coup for them.

Manchester United are looking at other defenders like Castello Lukeba as well.
