BACK REPORT: Ex-Chelsea Star ‘Could Leave’ Italian Giants For £48M As Man Utd, Arsenal And Spurs All Circle Man Utd are one of three Premier League clubs keeping tabs on the situation of AC Milan winger Christian Pulisic, according to reports in the Italian media. Calciomercato.it claims that the Rossoneri are looking to raise funds and they are prepared to let the former Chelsea player go at the end of the season. They suggest that the USA captain “could leave” the San Siro if a club matches his €55m (£48m) asking price. Pulisic has been in good form for the Serie A giants this season, scoring 10 goals and providing 2 assists in 20 appearances. However, they will have to decide soon whether to hand him a new contract. He has 18 months left on his current one, although they do have the option to extend it for another year. From the sounds of things, though, they are looking to cash in soon to ensure his value doesn’t drop, with United, Arsenal and Tottenham all interested. Man Utd want a new left winger Along with a midfielder and, potentially, a right-back, it is believed that Director of Football Jason Wilcox and Head of Recruitment Christopher Vivell are looking to strengthen the club’s options on the left flank. Marcus Rashford is likely to be offloaded on a permanent basis this summer, with Barcelona having an option to buy him for €30m (£26m). With the switch to a 4-3-3 system, there is also a need for more wingers in general. Pulisic is not the only option under consideration Fans are likely to see plenty of wingers linked with a switch to Old Trafford over the coming weeks and months. Last week, it was reported that Newcastle’s Antony Gordon is on the club’s radar. RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande is being scouted too, while Pulisic’s teammate, Rafael Leao, and Everton’s Iliman Ndaye are other possible targets. Want more news on Man Utd?
