One United signing is already blowing teammates away while another is struck with injury setback – report

Manchester United players are reportedly impressed with Andrey Santos, as a key injury update is provided on goalkeeper Karl Darlow. But the Red Devils have eventually got their man and Michael Carrick was pleased with him after the Wrexham game. Meanwhile, United dipped into the market for a goalkeeper after Andre Onana’s return to Trabzonspor on another season-long loan move and the expected exits of Radek Vitek and Altay Bayindir. Darlow is expected to provide support and competition to Senne Lammens, who remains the undisputed starter despite his World Cup howler for Belgium against Spain. Unlike Santos, Darlow did not feature vs. Wrexham and now, the Daily Mail have revealed this is because he is dealing with a small injury he sustained while playing for Leeds. It’s understood that Santos is viewed as someone with the abilities and instincts to be used in the No. 6, as a defensive midfielder.
