Ineos finally surrender to towering stars demands with 15m move now on the cards – report

Radek Vitek’s Manchester United future seems all but decided following developments this week. Only days ago, The Peoples Person relayed the goalkeeper’s comments. Speaking after United’s 1-0 pre-season defeat to Wrexham, Vitek outlined his ambition to play a key role next season. However, that dream is unrealistic at Old Trafford, with Senne Lammens, the Premier League signing of the season, already established as The Red Devils’ number one. Radek Vitek wants out, Man United respond Acknowledging the situation, Vitek admitted he was open to leaving, whether on loan or permanently. Days later, the Daily Mail’s Nathan Salt is now reporting: “Depending on who you speak to at United, some sources believe a realistic fee for Vitek comes in at around £15m, with the Czech shot-stopper open to leaving permanently, which appears, as of now, to be United’s preferred route.” Man United’s goalkeeping department in good shape INEOS appear ready to grant the towering 6’6” keeper his wish of a move away. While a loan spell at a top club would have boosted his value, the most pragmatic response to his comments seems to be cutting ties altogether. Having already secured Leeds United’s former number one Karl Darlow on a free transfer, alongside Lammens, Manchester United’s goalkeeping department remains well stocked. Vitek’s departure, therefore, is no major setback. Hopefully, he secures a move to a top club where he can prove himself. That said, he is not the only goalkeeper heading for the exit. Altay Bayindir is also expected to leave, having been granted extra time off to finalise his transfer. Meanwhile, Andre Onana has already departed on another season-long loan, with Trabzonspor convincing INEOS to sanction his move for the 2026–27 campaign.
