Manchester United have seen an upturn in results and performances lately. The club’s loyal supporters will hope that can continue into the winter months and United will surge up the Premier League table. What we already know about December United welcome struggling West Ham United on Thursday 4th December to Old Trafford and then take a trip to bottom club Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday 8th. They then host AFC Bournemouth for a traditional 3pm GMT Saturday afternoon kick off on the 13th December before a tricky pre-Christmas assignment versus Aston Villa on the 21st December. Official announcements The Red Devils’ fixtures for the end of December and beginning of January have been officially announced. The club’s official website announced that, “Manchester United’s winter schedule has become clearer, after four of our fixtures were confirmed by the Premier League.” United will be the only side in action on Boxing Day when they host Newcastle United for a 20:00 GMT kick off time in what promises to be a Christmas cracker of a match. They will then host Wolves on the 30th December to make it a local Christmas with two matches at Old Trafford over the festive period. This game will commence at 20:15 GMT. Strangely, they will play the same opponent twice in the league in space of three weeks. 2026 will start with a bang when United will travel to what will surely be a hostile Elland Road to face newly promoted and fierce rivals, Leeds United. That match will kick off at 12:30 GMT on Sunday 4th January. Finally, it has been announced that United will make the short trip to Turf Moor to face fellow Premier League new boys Burnley. This game will take place on Wednesday 7th January at 20:15 GMT.
