Manchester United have had an exceptionally busy deadline day. Loan moves Ethan Wheatley, who was recalled from Northampton Town last month, completed a late deal to join Bradford City on loan. James Scanlon also sealed a deal to join Swindon Town for the remainder of the season. Jacob Devaney will also gain his first experience of senior action on loan at St Mirren. Finally, exciting striker Gabriele Biancheri completed a late loan move to Rotherham United. Jack Moorhouse recalled The Red Devils have decided to recall some stars as well, such as Sonny Aljofree and Habeeb Ogunneye. Another player they have decided to bring back to Carrington is Jack Moorhouse, who was on loan at Leyton Orient. Moorhouse played 24 times for Orient, scoring a goal and providing two assists from midfield. Manchester United’s official website reported, “Jack Moorhouse has been recalled from his loan spell with League One side Leyton Orient.” They also added that, “the combative Academy midfielder will now return to Carrington, as we welcome him back from his spell in the capital.” Leyton Orient also commented on the move by stating, “midfielder Jack Moorhouse has returned to parent club Manchester United after an agreement was reached between both clubs.” Orient Head Coach Richie Wellens said: “Jack is undoubtedly a very talented footballer and I think our fans have seen that in flashes this season. Given the situation we currently find ourselves in, we thought it may limit his game time and we have been very open with Manchester United about this.” The Os find themselves hovering just above the relegation zone with four months of the season still left to play. The club thanked Moorhouse for his services and wished him all the best for the future. The 20-year-old will likely now continue to play for the academy before making a decision on his long-term future in the summer.
