Official: History maker with United women jumps ship to WSL rivals midseason

Manchester United have made a decision regarding one of their longest-serving players. Hannah Blundell exit Manchester United have also sanctioned a deal for Hannah Blundell to leave the club on a temporary basis. She joined United from Chelsea in 2021 and has spent five years at the club, making 95 appearances for the side. Blundell gave birth to her child in March 2025 and, as a result, missed the entire 2024–2025 campaign. She became the first professional Manchester United player to return to the pitch after having a baby when she came on as a substitute against Brighton & Hove Albion. She explained, “I am really excited!
