MUSS offer unique experience in Indonesia

Manchester United Soccer Schools have run a special event in Jakarta, offering a fabulous experience for children and teachers.

A competition ran in conjunction with Biskuat, part of Mondelez International, provided the special prize of a coaching day in the Indonesian capital, proving a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the lucky winners.

The entrants, totalling over 4,000, submitted videos displaying not only their skills but also a passion and commitment to practice. Eighty were chosen, between the ages of 8 and 12 years old, with 40 teachers from the region also invited to the coach education sessions.

This helped ensure a lasting impact and legacy following on from the initial work.

The collaboration between MUSS and Biskuat provided an inspirational experience which has ensured players understand the values instilled by Manchester United. 

These should help the children to grow and succeed in life, both on and off the field. 

There is optimism that this event can help the participants be more diligent in pursuing their dreams, displaying enthusiasm and positivity, and also developing their non-academic competencies, particularly through football.

The MUSS vision is to be the best club-endorsed coaching programme in the world and this was the perfect way to allow some of our huge global fanbase to engage and interact with United.

Now entering its 26th year, MUSS continues to connect with boys and girls from all cultures and countries, and all levels of the game, from grassroots through to national, youth and Academy level, fuelling a lifelong passion for enjoying playing and learning about football, while cementing an affection and bond with the club itself.

Our story is infused with youth culture and it was a wonderful way to share this ethos with the people of Indonesia.
