Over the past few summers, one transfer target who has been continually linked with Manchester United after Frenkie de Jong is French midfielder Adrien Rabiot. It looks like the tradition is back to continue this summer.
The Frenchman was a free agent last summer and heavily linked with a move to Man Utd, only for him to eventually sign for Olympique Marseille and become a part of Roberto de Zerbi’s team.

However, the duo have suffered a spectacular fallout after the first Ligue 1 game of the season.
The Italian tactician has made it very clear that Rabiot will not play another game under him for Marseille and an exit is very much on the cards. It looks like the player continues to harbour dreams of wearing the Red Devils jersey.
Now, as per Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Rabiot is set to be offered to Manchester United and many other clubs with an open situation this summer.
“He is going to be offered to Manchester United and many other clubs as an opportunity for €15-20 million (£17million). But at the moment, it’s still an open situation.”
£17million for Rabiot is a bargain in today’s market. The decorated Frenchman has won many trophies both in France and Italy with PSG and Juventus and has also been a regular in the France team under Didier Deschamps, despite some people being against it.
Rabiot is a box-to-box midfielder who could add something important to Amorim’s team. Manuel Ugarte’s poor form and adaptation means it wouldn’t hurt to bring in another midfielder who can play in the deeper positions.
However, there have been concerns over the Frenchman’s attitude and this has followed him throughout his career.
Even now, he is on the brink of another fall-out and let’s wait and see if Man Utd push ahead to sign him this summer.
