Man Utd Make Major Transfer Decision On Brazilian Wonderkid As Romano Confirms “Advanced Talks”

BACK Man Utd ended their interest in signing Real Madrid striker Endrick on loan after learning that a purchase clause could not be included in the deal, according to reports. Writing for ESPN Brasil, journalist Bruno Andrade claimed that both the Red Devils and Aston Villa were interested in snapping up the 19-year-old ahead of the January transfer window. However, when they learned that there would be no option to buy Endrick at the end of the season, both teams opted to leave negotiations. That has subsequently led to French club Lyon becoming favourites to sign Brazilian international, as they were prepared to agree to a loan without any clause to keep him. Romano has confirmed that Lyon are closing in on a loan Writing on his X account last night, Fabrizio Romano said that the decision not to include a purchase option was the player’s decision. Endrick is keen on getting more game time to increase his chances of being included in Brazil’s squad for the World Cup but he doesn’t want to leave Real on a permanent basis. Romano says that Lyon are now in “advanced talks” to complete a loan deal for the striker before January. Will Man Utd try to sign another forward? A lot depends on the future of Joshua Zirkzee. Head coach Ruben Amorim has not started the Dutchman all season, and the player is now agitating to leave Old Trafford. Like Endrick, Zirkzee is reportedly concerned that his place in the Netherlands squad will be put in jeopardy if he stays, and he is attracting the interest of West Ham and Roma. If Zirkzee is sold or loaned out, Director of Football Jason Wilcox will likely seek a replacement. Another Brazilian youngster, Vasco Da Gama’s Rayan, was linked with the Red Devils last week. Levante’s Karl Etta Eyong is also on the club’s radar.
