Man Utd concern as Arsenal lead to secure £30million initial fee for key signing – Report

Eberechi Eze Crystal Palace

Manchester United have so far strengthened their squad this summer by bringing in players who have already proved their worth in the Premier League.

Now, after Cunha and Mbeumo, they are looking to further reinforce the attack by luring another PL proven star.

News – Man Utd table offer for signing with £43m star willing to move to Old Trafford – Report

According to an exclusive story covered by covered by Caught Offside, Man Utd and Man City have made early contact with the camp of Eberechi Eze but, Arsenal are the ones leading to secure his signature at the moment.

The news source have mentioned that the England international has a release clause of £68million in his contract and the Gunners are ready to meet it in installments.

The north London side are prepared to agree an initial fee of £30million, with the remaining £38million to be paid in the next two years.

Should Man Utd move to beat Arsenal to Eze?

Eberechi Eze is versatile talent, who can effectively play in multiple offensive positions. Naturally, he likes to play in the No.10 role behind the striker, but he has proved to productive from the left flank as well.

CO claim that Liverpool are also interested but in all fairness, the Premier League champions do not need Eze, as they already have Szoboszlai and their record signing, Florian Wirtz, for the CAM role.

Moreover, they also have Gakpo, Ngumoha, Ekitike and even Wirtz to for the LW position.

In Bruno Fernandes, Man Utd have one of the best attacking midfielders in the Premier League but the veteran Portuguese star will turn 31 in September and Amorim needs to find a replacement/cover.

Last season, Eze featured in 43 games for Palace, and directly contributed in 25 goals (14 goals and 11 assists) and helped them win their first ever FA Cup trophy.

The 27-year-old has the quality and the experience to improve any attack. If Arsenal, who already have a better squad than Man Utd, and have already spent a lot to reinforce their squad, get their hands on Eze, then it could be a huge concern for the Red Devils.
