Man United willing to offer £38.7million to sign South American – Report

Old-Trafford

Manchester United have done transfer business with much better clarity than previous seasons.

The Red Devils have brought in the likes of Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo for the attack and it looks like they are settling in well.

The Red Devils also seem to be playing a different brand of football to last season. Against Arsenal in the Premier League season opener, Ruben Amorim’s team impressed one and all with their attacking mindset and were unlucky to lose 1-0 to the Gunners.

However, it looks like Christopher Vivell & co. are not yet done with their transfer business this summer. The club continue to be linked with other options who can potentially add quality to Amorim’s squad and one of the names on the list is Nico Paz.

The Argentine playmaker has been one of Como’s most important players since Cesc Fabregas took over as the manager.

He has managed to make Paz one of his most important creative players and it is safe to say that the youngster has not disappointed.

The La Castilla product has always been very highly rated since a very young age. A pathway to the first-team at Real Madrid was never going to be easy with Los Blancos always preferring to look outside but the ceiling that the South American possesses is quite obvious.

As per Defensa Central, Man Utd are willing to offer around £38.7million to sign Nico Paz and bring him to Old Trafford but Real Madrid still hold a lot of control over the player’s future.

Not only do they have a sell-on clause to profit from but they also have very attainable buy-back clauses for the next couple of summers.

Thus, should Man Utd be interested in signing him, they would not only need to convince Como to sell him but also hope that the Spanish club don’t play spoilsport in the deal.

Nico Paz can add a lot of creativity to the Man Utd team. Currently, with the exception of Bruno Fernandes and Mason Mount, the Red Devils aren’t necessarily blessed with creative attacking outlets.

A player like Nico Paz could prove to be transformative in this regard and only time will tell how things play out on this front.
