Man United Urged To Sign “Amazing” Everton Star Amid Bryan Mbeumo Comparison

BACK Dylan Oakley Feb 16th 2026 Man United have been urged by one of their former players to sign an Everton player in the summer.  The Red Devils are on somewhat of a mid-season break at the moment, as they didn’t feature in the FA Cup fourth round, and now get to wait until next Monday to play against Everton in the Premier League. They come off a 1-1 draw against West Ham, and will hope to get back to winning ways against Everton to try and climb closer to Aston Villa and Manchester City, who are ahead of them in the Premier League table. It is somewhat ironic that Man United are playing Everton next, as reports over the weekend emerged suggesting that the Red Devils could sign one of David Moyes’ players in the summer transfer window. Louis Saha urges Man United to sign Ndiaye Man United have been linked to signing Everton’s Iliman Ndiaye in recent reports, suggesting that he could become their long-term replacement for Bruno Fernandes, whose contract is due to expire at the end of next season. Former Man United striker Louis Saha has urged the Red Devils to sign Ndiaye, comparing him to current United star Bryan Mbeumo. Saha told AceOdds.com: “Ndiaye, from the moment he signed, he’s been an amazing talent. “I would love to see him, maybe at some point at Man Utd, to be honest. He’s a very skillful player. I like Ndiaye’s style. Like Mbeumo, he’s comfortable with the ball. “His work rate is very good… he’s a bit like a mix of Amad and Mbeumo to be honest. David Moyes has really solidified what we know that he can do.” Everton likely won’t want to sell Ndiaye as the 25-year-old is arguably the Toffees’ best player, and has been as good again this season. He has made 20 appearances in the Premier League this season, scoring five goals, and providing two assists, despite spending a month away at the Africa Cup of Nations.
