Man United are keeping close tabs on Juventus centre-back Gleison Bremer, according to reports.
TEAMtalk claim that the Red Devils have ‘joined” the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea in pursuing the Brazilian international.
Bremer has had a strong start to the campaign, having recovered from a serious knee injury that kept him out for most of the 2024/25 season.
He has been part of a Juve side that currently sits top of the Serie A table after four games played, although Napoli can retake 1st place if they beat Pisa on Monday night.
Bremer is keen on a move to England
One of the reasons why United have taken such a keen interest in the 28-year-old is because he is reportedly open to joining a Premier League team.
TEAMtalk say that an offer from an English club could “turn his head” both from a financial and playing perspective.
Bremer has just under 4 years left on his contract and he is regarded as a key player. However, it was claimed by Fabrizio Romano back in the summer that there was a release clause in his current deal worth between €65m (£57m) and €75m (£61m). It is not known whether that clause is still active.
The Man United target has been praised by his manager
Speaking earlier this month, Juve head coach Igor Tudor paid tribute to Bremer’s leadership qualities:
He’s incredibly important from every perspective. As a player, and as a leader, this locker room needs. He’s a great guy, but then he becomes mean on the pitch. We have a good relationship, and he makes himself available.”
The fact that Bremer is also well-versed in playing as part of a back three gives additional credence that the Red Devils could make a move for him in the future.
